I fell upon these 2 comic books not so long ago & they were both worth the investment. As you'll see, the artwork is amazing & the storyline is intriguing. Being both a mix of horror & crime, it is worth the read. Unfortunately, it currently only exists in French.

"Vinterland" (2019) is the 1st book in the independent series with detectives Juncker & Kristiansen who deal with a terror attack in Copenhagen. It's the 1st time that I read anything by the Danish duo & I'm impressed with how they switch between perspectives. Well worth the read!

And here it is, the final gigantic collection of the Chew series. I don't know how these authors managed to find all the crazy ideas that they did, but I truly loved this comic book series for all the weird and dark characters and happenings.

"The Marco Effect" is the fifth book in the Department Q series by Danish author, Jussi Adler-Olsen. I absolutely love this series and the fifth book was another delight to read. There's also a film adaptation of the book but I have to say that I prefered the book this time.

"Heretic" points out some interesting questions concerning religion and religion through history in a horror format. This is not to say that it should be taken as a history lesson, but the movie points out some provocative aspects and is well worth the time.

"Companion" is quite interesting. I don't want to spoil too much and luckily the trailer doesn't give too much away, but this take on a robot companion is both up to date and pretty refreshing. Definitely worth the watch if you ask me.
