My husband got to pick the name; he has the same name as his two predecessors, Moj or Moji. He would say Moj is more of a personality or an essence than a name, and puppy Moj is already living up to it (spazzy, independent, food & ball-obsessed, a destroyer of stuffed toys). He’s just the best. 😂😂❤️

Breaking news: new puppy! 6 mo old husky/shepherd mix, the sweetest and most playful boy ever. We were dogless for 6 months after many decades of dogs, and that sucked. He has just slid right into our lives already as though he’s always been ours. #DogsOfBlueSky 🐕

I believe the author Cheryl Strayed is from McGregor. Or at least lived there. I mean, it’s a town of 400 in a one stoplight county, so the pickings are slim…..

We live just outside McGregor when not in St. Paul. I like this for us.

Oh, that’s awful! And that’s so young to lose your dad. But at least you saw him right before; I hope there was comfort in that in some way.

One year ago today, my dad died unexpectedly. He was the best and I really miss him, all the time. That’s it, that’s the whole skeet. Here’s a picture of my dad.

When the Strib did this a while ago, I found an article about my grandpa punching a cop during a traffic stop in the 50’s. Here he’s being fined for illegal liquor purchases in 1951. He died before I was born, so these tidbits are fascinating. Dad always said he was a shady guy & small time criminal

Yeah my friends and I had no idea that was a thing until we compared notes. It was always the 2 or 3 am wake up. We named it TAMALE - time awake for middle aged ladies everywhere. Others have suggested harnessing that time for insomniactivism. Pissed off ladies with time to burn = priceless.

I’m just getting to the other side of that. The insomnia was a killer. Nobody tells you!
