I was a bit disappointed by the lack of action. But there's some potential there. Hopefully it'll gain some momentum for a follow-up.

Great to hear @homosatanis.bsky.social‬ back on the show. An excellent and very funny episode, as usual. I haven't seen these old GAMERA films, but I did enjoy the 90s reboot with Steven Seagal's daughter.

A belated Happy Birthday. I watched a new GUYVER fan film and wondered if you'd heard about it. youtu.be/BgiJ84jtMe8?...

Great stuff. SUBMERGED really is a fascinating mess, but one of my favourites. I agree that despite it's flaws there's a lot that makes it stand far, far above the drab ATTACK FORCE. The two films suffered (and caused viewer suffering) in similar ways, but Hickox's film has so much style and energy.

It's a good one, but the explosion seems like it's never going to happen. You have to wait a really long time for the payoff, which ends up feeling more of an afterthought than the spectacular sequence that preceded it.

We at @dtvshortshots.bsky.social were pleased to get a chance to see @janinepipe28.bsky.social's new short action project, CHARLIE FOXTROT. An engaging 5-minute standalone thriller and an intriguing proof-of-concept for a feature. Look out for this at festivals. #ShortShot

I listen to a lot of audiobooks and took a chance on 'From Here to the Great Unknown' by Lisa Marie Presley and Riley Keough, her daughter. I highly recommend it. Beautifully read by Keough (who has an amazing, soothing voice) and Julia Roberts, on behalf of her late mother.
