I happened to notice that the Alberta govt quietly changed its expense report disclosure policy on Aug. 1, hours before a long weekend.

The changes were significant — receipts no longer had to be publicly disclosed, and 8 years of expenses had been 'undisclosed.'

1. I have found a fun new anger release: I have joined TruthSocial (it’s so gross on there, especially when I was automatically set to follow 37 egregious right wing media profiles like The Epoch Times) and starting today I will report Trump’s “truths” as spam.

I think they misunderstand the definition of “transparency” (but that is too kind).

If he can legally be allowed into the country, I say let him come. And invite Zelenskyy too!! Then tell Trump to sit down and stop interrupting (because I’m sure he will). Put him in his place when he is at a table of adults.

My uncle (mid-70 in age) by marriage from North Carolina had never heard of the British Empire. It’s funny how things can be “forgotten” when they were never taught! Luckily my aunt gave him the rundown since her dad, my grandfather, was Canadian (as am I).

I intentionally do not look at my phone when I wake up. If I do look at it in the morning, it’s for the weather. Every once in a while I cave and pop open a news app for a quick check. It’s never worth it! The news will still be there a few hours later and my mind feels better for it.

I’ve had an account on BlueSky for a few months, but haven’t used it much. I’m happy to say it’s my ONLY social media account now. Toodle-loo MotherZucker!!!!
