Absence of leadership forces Labour to play to electorate
Only a wider governing philosophy will enable Keir Starmerโs party to see off Reform UK threat
Todayโs newsletter: almost all organisations are happiest when they can work to the boss, and when the boss has no political project, โthe bossโ becomes โthe next electionโ, even when it is so far away as to be meaningless: www.ft.com/content/38a3...

Israel is presenting its "allies" with a diplomatic/military nightmare right now. Not only are they razing Gaza to the ground and murdering starving children but now they've essentially taken out the air defences to Iran's capital city

I decided not to watch this series of Doctor Who yet because I couldn't really be bothered to make time for it as well as keeping up with where I've got to in Classic Who. Suffice it to say I'm now extremely confused about whatever the hell is going on.

PM has 'lost control' of borders
Politics of immigration at next general election will depend more on small boat crossings & hotel use than overall numbers.
Eg: net migration halved in 2024 compared to 2023 [ONS stats came out 10 days ago] but that did not feature even as a nib on a single newspaper front-page the next day

How come I can't see who's following me on here? The suggested fixes for it don't seem to work.
