Disappointing news on the Canadian election front. At the upcoming by-election in Battle River-Crowfeet(over in Alberta), they'll be using a special ballot.

On account of the 209 candidates running, they're going with a blank space to fill in your desired winner.

It was really neat.

I was lucky in that my video store of choice had a decent selection. That and whatever got localized/dubbed for television.

Some of the more adventurous folks I know went to a couple of shops downtown that sold the stuff as well as others that carried bootlegs.

I was doing a little bit of bike riding yesterday and I can say two things:
1)Apparently people forget quickly about things like traffic calming around bicycles, and
2)People are full on willing to drive head on into opposing traffic if you even DARE to need a lane they want.
