Wait are you're saying it's weird that I have a reminder set every six months in my task management app

Of course I did the very 2005 thing and scrapbooked the experience
Yeah, when I saw the Newbery honoree ('66) was book 2 I figured I should read book 1 first, and then with book 5 in my Newbery queue for 1969 I knew I'd have to read them all. (I'm reading the Newbery and Caldecott medalists and honorees in chronological order - about one year's worth per month.)
26.11.2025 01:55 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0It's interesting that you say this because I am just now about ten pages from the end of The Book of Three for the first time and I have really enjoyed it. (Warming up for reading books 2 and 5 for my 1966 and 1969 Newbery project posts in the next few months and I'll read the other two in between)

21.11.2025 14:20 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Yes, thatโs the idea. Since this one folds up, they wouldnโt be able to get in unless an adult had already opened it for that purpose.

We had a similar one. This the best picture I can find; sheโs two and helping make cookie dough, but not able to accidentally step off of it. The platform of ours could be adjusted downward as the kid got taller. It had steps and a partially open side so she could get in on her own.

12.11.2025 23:51 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0In my experience this means โdonโt put the cord across somewhere it might get stepped on or tripped over.โ If Iโm just using it to get to a different part of the counter itโs cool but they donโt want me using it to go from the wall outlet to the detached kitchen island.

I'm sure I've read books that were more obviously in need of better editing but AAAHHHHHHHH
If I'm going to have so many thoughts about a book I would have preferred to enjoy it

Hey, happy 30th birthday GameFAQs! Launched on November 5th, 1995!
The earliest scrape I can find on Wayback is December 1996, but I doubt the site changed much. But yes, here it is in its earliest days as the Video Game FAQ Archive!
I saw you at Gen Con when you signed my copy of moon cheese and afterwards I felt really bad about saying practically nothing - but I did really enjoy the book and itโs still one of my favorite books from this year!
