I think it has something to do with how I have no expectations when I start a new fic. Then it's really good and you go from 0-100 so fast. Wow this is one of the best things I've ever read and then it's just over.

Finishing a really good fan fic is so emotionally taxing.
Time to go back to the mines to find another gem in the rubble, I guess.

Cis people: Repost, boost, and, importantly, buy. Part of boycotting an evil corporation is supporting the alternatives.

Important that people recognise this was published nearly a year ago. You're only just noticing it now because the media completely buried it because it's not convenient to their narrative. Tell people about it.

I read The Lottery, probably like many Americans in grade school, but I was never introduced to the context in which it was written. I'm definitely going to read it now.

I don't have a solution. This isn't that sort of thread.

I'm pleading a bit. Don't stop caring, even if you're tired. Care about trans people.

Care about immigrant neighbors. Care if people are hungry, if children are sick.

Building is tougher than breaking, but caring is how we win.
