And yeah I do prefer New Vegas to 3 cuz I also prefer Fallout 2 to Fallout 1, but the wave of hate Fallout 3’s gotten in the last decade for being unfaithful is hilariously nonsensical and feels like it’s coming from people that haven even played the first 2. It’s by far one of Bethesda’s best games

Tim Cain who MADE Fallout says he’s a huge fan of Fallout 3. Worth noting too that FNV IS better and more faithful to 90s Fallout overall, but only one or 2 of the returning devs from the first worked on it, with many coming from specifically the second. FNV is more Fallout 2 but 3 is more Fallout 1

Also people need to stop acting like they get cool points for praising FNV but shitting on Fallout 3 for being unfaithful to the series or something. 3 doesn’t get everything right, but it’s biggest issue might actually BE that it rips off too many ideas from the first 2 games.

Love how no matter how dogshit people’s rankings of the Fallout games are, you can count on Brotherhood of Steel being at the bottom of the list. You all played and finished an infamous, rare 6th gen console exclusive hack n slash spinoff simply to rank it? You could’ve played Diablo 2 instead
