It's getting cold so you know what that means!

I am now cat bed.

My puzzling group decided to go from Call of the Sea to the last DLC of Rise of the Golden Idol and then go into Obra Dinn.

Little did we know the last DLC has a full on Obra Dinn homage in it hahahahahaha

Starting to get the hang of Daggerheart, but also getting the hang of my new world (first time I've completely made my own setting) and a new group of players (got my Osaka friends to join with my old Wayfarer gang).

Having a LOT of fun with it.

Shit, I oversleeeeeeeept. Well I guess that's the universe saying go full force on studying for 'children's health' test with the extra hour I've been 'given'. @_@

I am so impressed with how far Bluesky has come in that my feed is now as hopping and covering all the things what my old twttr feed did.

Time to get back into the habit :D

It's that Daycare License testing time if year again. Goal is passing 2 this time! I feel good about the 'Child Psychology' I did ghus morning, but Family Welfare did just kill my braaain.

Last week I started GMing a new ttrpg campaign and I'm still giddy over how cool all the characters are. BUT ALSO I need to get my head around Daggerheart. I've been doing just D&D for so long that I gotta prep extra to get the rules down for this next session.

The problem with summer holidays is that they end, just gotta hang on to all the good habits I started developing.

Something about a cat noticing you're lounging and moving so they can be next to you quietly just flopping and purring fills me with great joy.

Been doing painting with inktense and it had been SO LONG since my last self portrait so thought it was about time for a new one.

I love just using six colors to do all the colors. The brown was particularly fun to mix.

My friends and I were playing scary game (really @scarletmoth.bsky.social was playing and we were supporting) and it was so scary Moth and I did scream in tandem at one point.

I bought a kakigoori (shaved ice) machine.

Because I realized I will save SO MUCH MONEY with how many ice pops I have in the summer here in japan.

A firbolg medbay healer who is wholesome and just feels so worried because everyone else just gets hurt all the time and they need to be protected. And finally the mechanical expert and researcher elf who is a sweet himbo nerd.

The questions they asked each other for connections were AMAZING.

Playing with people who are new to ttrpgs is so refreshing. For my Firefly-esque Steampunk Scifi Fantasy campaign we have for our skyship: A Nepobaby Captain who is a giant hot lady out to have some fun. A scatterbrained bird-person Navigator who gets into random situations but always gets out.

One of my cats had learned to TAKE MY HEADPHONES OUT OF THE AUDIO JACK when she is mad at me.

Not only by the progressive choice, but also that they chose to align more with the girl's uniform.

I feel like most hoikushi are more progressive than a lot of Japanese, but then there are people who are well poops.

Skirts are the most difficult to get people to accept I find and I hate that your teacher isn't more supportive. My schools fully went non-gendered for their sports uniform (all teal instead of boys blue and girls pink/teal) I was really surprised (that's the uniform they're in most of the time).

As a kindergarten/daycare teacher in Japan, the wbgt is the key thing to check in the summer.

Also turns out I really like Melbourne XD! I will definitely be going for a visit for the city and country itself when I have money again.
