Ray is adjusting so well to middle school ball. He played the whole game in right field today and laced a single to left in his only at-bat. He's seen two strikes in his two at-bats this year and put both in play. It was also a blessing that his grandparents were all there to see it. What a guy!

If we had not taken Pax home, he'd still be out there tagging out kids from the Reds. I'll have to check with the Elias Sports Bureau, but early reports indicate that he recorded the first ever unassisted quadruple play in T-Ball Opening Day history. Love watching this kid and his love for baseball!

This baby boy is 6 years old today. So much energy, so much silliness, and Pax LOVES his sports. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for Pax!

These Stormlight Archive books are so … dense. “Wind and Truth” is my favorite yet, but Sanderson packs so much into each page, it’s tough to move fast. What’s it like to be THAT type of smart?

Exactly. If 34 felony convictions wasn’t enough, they get what they deserve. I’ve got to do what I can to be the best me that I can, and letting that dude get in my head isn’t part of that.

But I’m not going to let this orange buffoon steal my joy and peace again. He isn’t worth that. If there is an action I can take to limit the effects of his brand of ignorance, I’ll take it, but raging on social media isn’t that.

I’m trying not to get too upset about “Trump 2: Somehow Even Dumber.”

It’s not that I don’t care or that I don’t recognize the dangers. But I spent the first four years of this raging against the nonsense, and it accomplished nothing but making me miserable. I’ll do what I can that’s tangible.

This was such a fun book. If you’ve ever enjoyed Crichton, historical fiction or tales of the Wild West, give Dragon Teeth a shot.

I, for one, think “Paper Trail” is a lovely name for a child.
