08.02.2026 15:55 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Indeed - my objection is that calling it UPF makes people think there's something inherently unhealthy about the act of processing food when it's only the processes that result in hyperpalatable / calorie dense foods that are 'bad'. UPF having so many daft definition edge-cases can't be useful

The only problem is that I don't think it's real and online ads are still often just targeted to broad-ish demographics / the targeting is just not perfect?
I love a chronological no-nonsense timeline but this is definitely the best 'algorithmic' feed I've found so far

Oh I acutally completely agree with your point lmao.
But I do think the article in the quoted tweet is allowed to point out that every devolved Welsh election has produced very similar results. It was clearly not saying that all UK devoled elections OR POLITICS has been boring.
This screenshot has generated a lot of very unfair criticism. The preceding three paragraphs make it clear that the reporter who wrote this (who is Welsh and has covered Welsh politics for many years) is talking about the results of Welsh devolved elections specifically.
25.10.2025 13:08 โ ๐ 8 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 1It is clear from the previous three paragraphs that he is talking about Wales specifically and saying 'devolved elections' to differentiate from the results of UK GEs in Wales. It is fair to say that Welsh devolved elections have been boring, in the sense of having very similar results.
