It is hard being witness to all this, helpless feeling in general. Hopefully we are able to recover from it all someday.

Right wing folks are still arguing in favor of this, and at this point I'm convinced that there is simply nothing that can be done to bring us back together. Their loyalty is to the man, and to own the libs. Nothing else matters. I don't know what he could do they would not praise.

That is a real problem in cities these days and one of the reasons I stick with hotels. I don't like that real people are being pushed out of their homes by airbnb and similar.

and, to be clear, the protests are good and matter, but what is the next move because it clearly isn't going to be through any normal channels. We are not impeaching, or due processing, or going to have courts on the right side of history and similar, the rules that kept us honest no longer exist.

The disappearing of people by other people that are either employed by the government, or just simply cosplaying to get off on it is just so beyond fucked up. More than half the country including a majority of politicians are just like, hell yeah. We are so beyond fucked. We need more than protests.
