Very excited to start my creative residency at La Coupole - the WW2 historical site, not the restaurant in Paris! Rockets, tunnels, archives and a planetarium! A lot to see and think about.

🐦 Did you know that pigeons, a form of rock dove (Columba livia), are the oldest domesticated birds?

Adopting an attitude of grief, Gail Ritchie's large-scale charcoal drawing, Big Albert, recalls the homing pigeons that served as messengers in the First World War, often under heavy artillery fire.

Sitting in the quiet seats at Belfast Int Airport beside which are kids animated rides including a neighing horse and other weird noises. Weird.

Very happy that The Shape of Mourning was selected as one of the winners of the Homiens Art Prize, Summer 2024. It's made from moulded bio-plastic petals and pebbles, an exercise in thinking through how loss and grief shapes us in different ways

Animal abuse has to stop. I am pleased someone is trying to address this but more needs to be done.
