I'm fairly certain even most people who dislike trans folks would find this shit repulsive. There's something viscerally unfair about denying retirement benefits such as pensions and healthcare to veterans who've served this country for nearly two decades.

Trump and Hegseth screwing over trans veterans on retirement benefits is an easy slam dunk politically for Democrats to flip the narrative on trans folks and that's exactly why they'll continue going on podcasts talking about how bigots have a point about sports.

What makes this even worse is that many of those service members would likely have stayed on till they hit twenty years of service to get a regular pension and benefits but they're being forced out. This was a half measure as it was and even that is being denied.
