Dear Lucy Three weeks ago you wrote me a bizarre letter in an attempt to hold on to voters who Labour have for too long taken for granted in Gorton and Denton. First, I’d like to give my apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I've been busy on the ground with Hannah Spencer talking to voters about the issues that matter to them – lowering bills, protecting the NHS and rebuilding our public services. You'll appreciate most of your letter is out of date now, but I'm sure you'll have seen the poll that came out today, that puts us in first place and Reform in second. Labour are a distant third and it’s now clearer than ever that your party cannot win in Gorton and Denton. If you are as concerned about stopping Reform as you proposed in your letter, the course is now clear: in the spirit in which you wrote to me, you should now urge your members and former voters to back Hannah Spencer on the 26th February to stop Reform and make hope normal again. "Come, let's away" is the first sign of characters growing that I've been confident about so far.

Even if Nus Braka's dialogue sounds like someone doing a (fairly accurate) Russell Howard impression with "wanked," "spooge" and other juvenile brit crap sprinkled often throughout.

Humiliated in the media, denied healthcare, attacked by the human rights watchdog, shut out by the Supreme Court, bullied by social services and the police, disadvantaged in the jobs market, death figures covered up by the State, harassment de facto legalised, and attackers deified by Ministers.

I think they all thought he was "one of the lads" and "following orders"* when he bizarrely accused K Mendoza of being antisemitic on Twitter.

*He was at the time. He has since grown a spine in some matters. Still an ableist MFer, though.

tabloids: the condition is mysteriously spreading. this is DANGEROUS.

What's mad is when working class people rightly say that we're worse off now than we were under the Tories, people who want for nothing tell us we're lying.

The betting has the Greens at 1/2 and Labour at 5/1. If you actually want to keep Reform out, rather than making a rhetorical point, you can only rationally argue for Labour to step aside.

Like most problems with AI this too is not a problem with AI it's a problem with the mad gold rush around AI.

I have my issues with LLM and generative AI, but the really big problems are very much human behaviour, exploitation and public funding and regulatory capture by big capital.

People talk about this stuff in terms of how much it'll suck for gaming and I hate to inform you how many MRI machines, X-Rays, all sorts of other vital machinery are just a Windows IoT Edition PC in a beige plastic box with a big magnet/accelerator/whatever attached.
