But it is IRONIC for Luxon who said he's watching how every dollar is spent.
I will continue to point out the fascism in this country.
The #AtlasNetwork is weaving it's way deeper into our country.

13.08.2025 21:30 β π 4800 π 818 π¬ 95 π 23βI just say to you, I think my feedback I got from that Sunday night from people in Australia was like, βMan, what a fantastic trip. New Zealand looked fantastic.β And it played really well back into the Australian media,β he told Stuff, after he returned to the capital. But in Australia, the news websites and television bulletins didnβt use any photos or video from the mountaintop.
A communications adviser for Luxon said one of his social media team had offered to supply some visuals to media, but they didnβt make it to air in Australia. It appeared the foreign press wasnβt actually told that footage existed. And generally, there are concerns about using edited footage curated by people who are paid to make a politician look good.
Luxon caught making up feedback from Australia #NZPol
A lot of the criticism here is just weird, limiting the questions Aussie journalists could ask, restricting photography, not even taking them to the money shot - good old Entitled Luxon strikes again

Need a hi viz to go with it.
Stanford is the MP & former reality TV show host who calls female MPs "stupid bitches". She uses her personal email to send confidential govt docs & appears to take instruction from Tory donors. She claims AI is just as good as humans & is advised by NZI & on how to advance colonialisation

I think this clip says it all.

She explains how she got the "creditials" for the job through money talks around the dinner table and shadowing seniors in Fonterra learning "macro economics". She had a very limited view and lived experience of what the economy is and is missing the fundamental social component.

09.08.2025 02:03 β π 8 π 3 π¬ 0 π 0So yes Nicola, it is about balance. But you've got the balance wrong. History has shown your strategy won't work. And in future, history will show that it didn't work.
09.08.2025 01:58 β π 5 π 2 π¬ 1 π 0And that's the current social contract: Govt exists to provide our basic needs (edu, health, shelter, food) and the private sector provides us with jobs, goods and services, entertainment etc.
It's not debt for nothing. It's debt to INVEST in people, so Nicky can have her rockstar economy.
So what's the govt going to have to do?
Go into debt. Govt is going to have to put groceries on the credit card because they have no other choice at the moment otherwise their people will starve.
And starving people don't grow an economy.
Even if we wipe the debt clean, you've got a chicken and egg situation. Govt need tax from business and workers to have CASH for social services.
Businesses can't groe without workers.
People can't work if they don't have social infrastructure to start with..
Companies however require WORKERS in order to grow their business. Smart ones, productive ones, motivated ones, and a lot of things come from having a good foundation outside of the workplace the things that businesses CAN'T provide - education, shelter, food, warmth, social connection, healthcare.
09.08.2025 01:30 β π 7 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0In Nicolas ideology, she doesn't see people as the first investment to make, she sees business as the first investment so that the PRIVATE sector can grow, bring in the money, the tax revenue for govt, and make the country wealthier so the govt can THEN invest in the people with CASH not debt..
09.08.2025 01:27 β π 7 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0.. Feeding someone.
Feeding someone does not directly put money in a businesses pocket. It's not a good investment. The direct monitary ROI is $0.
So private businesses and not going to feed someone. We can't and shouldn't expect the for-profit-market to feed someone because they WON'T
In a capatalist economy the aim is profit. More money in the bank means the ability to grow your business, be more dominant in the market, bulk buy to reduce margins and get MORE profit.
ROIs. Businesses want to invest in things that make a return.
You know what doesn't make a monitary return?
