Multi-omic machine learning predictor of breast cancer therapy response - Nature
Integration of pre-treatment tumour features in predictive models using machine learning could inform on response to therapy.
The first report of ML to integrate multi-omic data to generate a therapy response predictor. In a little over 3 years now cited >300 times in Web of Science! Incredibly proud @caldaslab.bsky.social and @stephensammut.bsky.social!!

How does cancer affect motivation?
Inflammatory cytokines hijack a brain circuit to cause apathy in cancer
A new Science summary spotlights a paper by CSHLβs Tobias Janowitz and colleagues that uncovers a neural circuit linking inflammation to reduced motivation in a mouse model of cancer cachexia. Check out the Science summary here: www.science.org/doi/10.1126/...

This is figure 5, which shows that aspirin promotes anti-metastatic immunity by releasing T cells from ARHGEF1-dependent suppression by TXA2.
Aspirin may enhance the immune response against cancer metastasis in mice, according to research published in Nature. The authors suggest that the findings could aid the development of effective anti-metastatic immunotherapies. https://go.nature.com/3F3GWOB π§ͺ
