Fist of the North Star - anime licensing struggles - The Genesis Temple Fist of the North Star was a successful anime series which got many games, with few reaching Western audiences. What happened?

Three years ago I looked at how marketing and lack of licensing fumbled up the Fist of the North Star games.
They would have been an easy success in Europe in the 90s, but, with publishers trying to cater to a US audience that wasn't there, they ended up being mostly unnoticed.

There's a great deal of value to be gained from limited war, from being more advanced, motivated, and prepared. Issues which I agree would be improved, but not solved, with additional funding.

Issues exist in equipment acquisition, which more investment won't fix. Creating space in the system for criticism, for more people to get education, for space and time to determine what systems we should even be trying to create. Those problems cannot be solved by merely increasing the budget.

That is, spending more wouldn't solve core research and development problems. The US navy and army has relatively fallen behind due to money spent on things like the LCS which failed to address likely threats the US navy would face. Problems like that wouldn't be fixed with additional money.

Pardon me, however as you're addressing a comrade I feel that I must say something in defense. Let me suggest this as an additional source of theory. May I suggest that the US as a strategic island and possessing a powerful navy and air force would best off pursuing deterrence beyond mere dollars.
