I knew it was going to be bad, but holy shit. Everyone who whined about the economy, congrats.

However much we yell at the newspaper it’s not enough.

Every safety regulation was written in blood, frequently with a body count higher than one, and it’s not political to put the blame on people who want to “move fast and break things” when they start breaking human lives.

It’s real bleak here.

Working on a demonstration model of a bee stinger. Bee stingers are made of two barbed lancets and a sheath. When a bee stings, the barbed lancets stick in the skin and as the bee flies away, the stinger remains behind. The venom sac continues to pump venom through the two lancets until empty.

I will never get over the betrayal I feel from those I viewed as moral and spiritual leaders embracing a fascist oligarch.

I don’t know which is worse… the feeling of total helplessness to do anything about what is coming or the rage towards the people who refused to make sensible voting choices.

Not everyone can fight Trumpism and Trumpists directly. But remember this: kindness, decency, and fidelity to American values are defiance in the face of Trumpism.

So be kind, decent, and faithful, particularly to the many kinds of people despised and attacked by Trumpists. That’s revolutionary./1
