1️⃣ “LCWRA: What Everyone Should Know”
	•	LCWRA provides essential support for those too unwell to work.
	•	It’s not a luxury—it’s survival for those facing serious illness or disability.
	•	Every £1 cut from LCWRA means real people facing impossible choices.

2️⃣ “Understanding Universal Credit’s Three Paths”
	•	✅ Work group: Capable of working now.
	•	⚖️ Work prep group: Building toward employment.
	•	❌ LCWRA: Unable to work due to health or disability.
	•	LCWRA isn’t about avoiding work—it’s about dignity when work isn’t possible. It is only given when health professionals confirm that working would seriously worsen health.

3️⃣ “LCWRA: Beyond the Acronym”
	•	Stands for Limited Capability for Work & Work-Related Activity.
	•	It stands between thousands of people and destitution.

Public health includes mental health. I'm looking at the current training for clinical psychologists on PMH & prevention. Please consider taking part in my study if you are trainee clinical psychologist, recent graduate or work on a Dclinpsyc course. #publichealthuk #clinicalpsychology #prevention

From the window with the trace of sunset

Today I learned about a term called a 'glimmer.’ Which is the opposite of a trigger. Glimmers are those moments in your day that make you feel joy, happiness, peace, or gratitude. Once you train your brain to be on the lookout for glimmers, these tiny moments will appear more and more.

Critical in Public Health’s evolution, are the worsening health, economic, & social inequalities across societies. Fuelled by historic, systemic and structural factors, these inequalities exacerbate current health threats & risk being weaponised. Let me be clear: There is no health without equity.
