The castle is surrounded by terrain that’s been warped by Chaos, to the point where it’s hard to tell whether it’s made of rock or flesh. The whole area affects living creatures so that they feel like they are in a dreamlike haze. It takes more than regular willpower to not lose your mind up here.

The Heart of Chaos is a huge chunk of rock ripped from the land moving towards the void as if trying to pull itself free from Amarath. It is held in place by chains that strain above a vast lake of bubbling acid. At the top is Castle Amarath, where Mad Lord Khargan spews out wicked commands.
