Yep, I used to feel like this when I was an OT. Had to get out in the end as I could barely look after myself let alone vulnerable others. Now a lot happier in a role with less responsibility 😅

100% correct. I used to work as an OT in intermediate care based in a care home in a back water town in the UK. Prices per month for residential care were £6k in a care home riddled with safeguarding issues and understaffing. Residents didn't have to foot the entire bill but huge profits being made

Kind of! The volunteer ran Search and Rescue services are funded pretty much exclusively by New Year's fireworks sales. They are illegal for the rest of the year hence why Icelanders go all out with these displays. It was this intense for an hour either side of midnight!
