Your painted and printed work is fantastic. I love the textures!

So are you inking "a la poupee"?I notice you're using a lot of cotton swabs. Are you cleaning the edges after inking and before printing? The paper looks very thin. I use unryu, which is thin as well.

So interesting. These are wonderfully creative examples. I love monotype landscapes because of the textures and movement I can create.

I have it on my list to read. Maybe later this winter. My issues are bladder related but no cancer, TG! An operation scheduled for this Monday at IU. Lots of anxiety.

Lots of health issues this winter but I'm a surviver. Currently I'm attempting to wean myself from the oligarchy! Dumping my last cent and piece of sanity into saving this country from itself. Ugh!

The American Art Union was the most important subscription based art organization prior to the Civil War. The AAU offered subscribers reproductive intaglio prints by master engravers. This book by the Gilcrease Museum is a treasure trove of early 18th century print culture. #AmericanArt

Currently mounting the monotypes onto wood so I can work on them more. I've considered these sketches since I pulled them from the plate, so I'm stoked to see what I can do to finish them. #printmaking

My newest print is Shallow Waters. It's a 13 colour (including two gradients) edition of 50.

It is postcard sized.

It is only available through my Patreon subscription (bargain) and at fairs.

Why the stone citadel of Sigiriya in Sri Lanka is my wonder of the world The landscape is not the dead relic of a foregone age. It is a living reminder of how knowledge tailored to the local ecology is essential
