The one argument that most Jews have for supporting Israel is that it is somewhat safe there (I realise that is a falacy). Attacks against Jews in other parts of the world provide evidence for this and people justifying those attacks more evidence still.

Yes, but they don't necessarily support its current actions. They don't necessarily realise the brutal conditions that Palestinians have been under for decades. Even if you do feel this way, this attack was counter productive. It's already been used to smear the pro Palestine movement in the UK.

But Jews are not genociding Palestinians. Israel is. Holding every member of a group responsible for the actions of a fraction of the people in the group is collective punishment and exactly the logic that Israel uses to justify the genocide.

One state, everyone has equal rights. If you're not sure how it works and you live in a normal country, look out of your window, if you see people of all different colours, creeds etc. not being legally discriminated against because of their race, creed etc. that's how I think Israel should be.

No, I don't want to eliminate Israel. There are millions of people there going about their lives. I'm a liberal. I want them to give equal rights to all Palestinians as they give to themselves. BDS is the tool that I would use to achieve this.

Look, agree that we should mourn the loss of human life, but arguing to put the blame mostly on Netanyahu is wrong. Israel was founded in 1948 on the back of the Nakba. Some people argue that the behaviour of the Israeli state has been a continuation of that ever since. It's not hard to do so.
