What do folks recommend these days as a free photoshop replacement? I'll be just doing youtube thumbnails with it mostly so doesn't need to be all singing all dancing. I've tried GIMP a long time ago but I'm not aware of any others.

Diving into RAW image developing. Starting with the basics... White balance and basic contrast/mid/highlights. Messed with a bit of filmic RGB after watching some tutorials. Oh my the rabbit hole is deep.
