And also just got a big update!
27.02.2026 12:31 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Heard that before trying the demo and wondered what people were talking about. Didn't really have issues killing anything and I did use lock-on.
I will agree though that the weapon sounds could use a little more oomph but tbh it didn't really bother me.
Hey congrats! Sprawl was awesome and this looks like it's gonna be as well.
27.02.2026 03:09 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Ah well, I'll miss it for sure but it does sound like you guys are amping up the combat. Excited to see it!
27.02.2026 03:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Lol, just "Are you OK being yelled at?" Is more than enough to walk without even including the rest.
Games (and tech) have the wildest stories about interviews and company culture I've ever heard. Worked many jobs in my life and I've never encountered anything like what I hear regularly here.
Immediately wishlisted. Absolutely loved Sprawl. Couldn't really tell from the trailer, will this have the same movement (wall running, etc)? I saw some sliding in there for sure.
27.02.2026 02:54 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Was so hyped for RE2 when it came out. I spent so much time playing the demo. Tore it open with gameshark codes, unlocked most of the weapons and some items from the main game that they left in there.
Still haven't played RE3 though. Mainly due to the fact that I got my first PC in between 2 and 3.
Wishlisted immediately π€
26.02.2026 12:12 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0RE6 isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. They just went a bit too far in the "over the top action" and spread the game too thin with so many campaigns. It had some good combat which was not really explained in game. Watch someone who's really good at the mercenaries mode sometime, it's nuts.
25.02.2026 17:17 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Not to mention the scaled leveling. Kinda killed any tension in exploring.
25.02.2026 15:22 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yet it looked so impressive back then. For sure the ES that has aged the worst for me. So much bloom, and the smeary textured potato faces.
25.02.2026 15:20 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Gonna try to check all these out. I played the demo for HYPNOS last night. The followup to BLACKSHARD from the same devs. Both it and the previous game just drip atmosphere and have amazing soundtracks.

24.02.2026 02:05 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Played the demo for HYPNOS by @redlockstudio.bsky.social The follow up to their game BLACKSHARD. Much like BLACKSHARD it's a exploration and story focused walking sim that's beautiful and just oozes atmosphere. *Really* looking forward to this one!

This made me think of the snow based G.I. Joe character. How did I not remember he was named this!?

21.02.2026 19:23 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Played the demo for @harktheghoul.bsky.social 's game "Hark the Ghoul".
Fabulous. Best kick since Zortch. Loved the exploration and whole vibe of the thing. Really beefy demo as well, took me around 5 hours. Really looking forward to the full release now.

ugh, that video he posted was really offputting.
20.02.2026 14:20 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The highlight of the "Amon Tobin" years. Where he seemed to be all over video game soundtracks.
Also did the Soundtrack for Infamous a couple years later.
Chaos Theory's OST was done by Amon Tobin. It's pretty awesome. Most of his stuff from that era is really good.

Skin Deep proves this point well

16.02.2026 14:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Finally got my Ayn Thor on Friday and started tinkering with it today. Seems really cool but man it really shows how much work Valve did with the Steam Deck to make it as accessible as it was. I could for sure see some people buying this and being totally lost.
15.02.2026 19:17 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Depending on where you work that's still the case. I'm considered "basically the IT guy" because I can do basic troubleshooting and know some hotkeys in Windows and MacOS.
