Really wish that would have happened in one of the international games

Had to happen as soon as F1 got all of its deal put in the standard subscription.

The good news is we won’t play many teams that big again. The loss hurts but the team showed so much heart in that second half.

Jake Dickert has done a terrific job at Wake Forest, now 6-3 and bowl-eligible in his first season.

I think that’s helped by the game being at Penn State where these wins don’t happen every day (Top 5). If it were at Indiana, I don’t think the atmosphere would be nearly this intense.

Penn St is finally providing a game worth watching but the point stands.

Bruno closing down to block the clearance made that goal possible. He’s also made a number of forward run that haven’t been found. He’s not had as bad a half as the stats may indicate.

Mbuemo seeing a lot of the focus in United getting the ball forward. Amorim clearly prefers his matchup with Porro than Amad trying to deal with van de Ven’s physicality.

Amad did a great job of knocking off Cunha there. Pretty ugly performance from United in possession for that first 20 minutes.

Just a backbreaking goal for Clt to concede. It looked as if they survived the break only to give it up on a very tight angle. Hopefully they can regroup at the half.

We have an 8 month old so left for home but the fans that stayed seem well hydrated 🍻😂 One of the sports memories I cherish most as a student was sticking out a long storm delay in a win vs UNC. If you’re dedicated, it can be a lot of fun.

Restarting feels the same way. I live 3ish miles from campus and can hear thunder again now. This is going to be an evening/night game.

I don’t understand Amorim’s decision making. Mount is clearly crucial to the way he wants to play but both games he’s the first change. Today moving him out of position and then pulled, and, like last week, we lost control of playing the game our way.

A bit presumptuous to say robbed of a win. Not saying it would not have happened but there was a lot of game left against a top 10 team.

FWIW they waited about 90 minutes before calling the game and the storms didn’t pass for another 60-75 minutes after that, nearing midnight.

It would be interesting to see how/if Wake’s changed versus last year. Dickert brought several west coast kids with him this season.

I need a player-tracking heat map to track my son’s sleep movement in the crib at night. Every time I check his monitor he is somewhere unexpected. Kid is sucked out of position far too easily and it would be nice to have the data to show him in the morning.

United focussed on getting the ball over the top or wide really early. Gets Mbeumo or another wide runner on the ball, facing goal, with room to run. The spaces are opening up. #EPL-live

So many positives for United to take away from that half. Dorgu, Mbuemo, Mount and Cunha all look very good.
Bruno solid as always but getting his pocket picked in our own box again.

I expect Šeško for Mbuemo, who was starting to show a bit of fatigue the last few minutes, to be the first change.
