You’re absolutely right, we are so sorry we got that wrong! The education spending withholdings are in Section 3.5.

You’re absolutely right, there is no Section 3.5. We are so sorry we misled you, that won’t happen again. The education spending withholdings…

Well, everyone knows Custer died at Little Bighorn. What this book presupposes is, maybe he didn’t?

His Wikipedia is a wild ride. Not only this but he had a girlfriend who continued to see him after reporting him to the police multiple times as a likely serial killer, entirely separate from a third woman he married in open court to take advantage of spousal privilege

Data aside this also elides the fact that while the campaign said any talk about his fitness was nonsense they wouldn’t put him in front of a camera to prove it. He had no pathway to turning it around.

I think the fact that his campaign couldn’t even rouse him to defend himself was telling. How long was it after the debate before they sat him down for the limp Stephanpolous interview?

Judging by the latest poll numbers the entire issue is not registering with the voters everyone is speaking for (at least not yet?)

My point is that your stated position that market pricing in one particular segment is β€œtoo low” and the consumers should pay more (than market price) seems to me to apply only to that segment in a way that seems driven by unexamined culture war priors

23.10.2025 20:14 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Character limited here but seems we sympathize with consumers in one scenario but insult them as entitled where they avoid falling into the first scenario, as if the rightful end state is higher profits borne by consumers while we pretend to feel they’re hard done by.

23.10.2025 20:05 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

But that is a perverse conclusion is it not. Consumers fail to resist price increases, we have media coverage / gov investigations into high segment prices. If consumers do resist price increases, Activision and Microsoft are entitled to more profit than they can extract from a free market?

That’s fair enough I suppose but nonetheless you don’t hear this sort of ire about people complaining that movie and concert tickets cost an arm and a leg now. Precisely the opposite actually.

Are there other product markets in which its en vogue to call consumers entitled for resisting price increases, or is this a manifestation of distaste for the consumers’ perceived politics
