An absolute must read piece ๐Ÿ‘‡

Those of us who care about trans rights, equality and basic decency need to be as loud and organised as the terfs and bigots have been in bringing us to this ridiculous state of affairs.

Over last year I've been building a Senedd Election Simulator tool. It gives a useful (I hope!) visual explainer of how the new election system turns votes into seats.

Despite being the most loyal brick in the red wall for a century, Keir Starmer's offering to Wales has thus far been derisory.

Wales will be hardest hit in the UK by the changes to disability benefit. Nearly 190,000 people will be affected, 6.1% of the population, with ยฃ470 million lost.

Doubt weโ€™ll make it above 20% turnout mind.

New plan would โ€˜transformโ€™ end of life care for 100,000 in England and Wales Palliative care commission set up to provide high-quality, holistic support following assisted dying vote

Unless the Welsh Government are involved hard to see how such a commission would set policy for Wales, given significant parts of palliative and end of life care sit within health and social care. Areas that are wholly devolved

Agree we may be heading for a really interesting vote in the Senedd because of principles and that ilk, but itโ€™s really important not to overstate it being PMB as causing issues: PMBs have had LCMs before. Obvs not as huge as this but not uncharted territory like some are claiming

Doubt reply is substantive enough for topic but 1)Senedd motion was broader than Bill before Westminster. 2)Unsure Bill as currently drafted engages Sewell. 3) Canโ€™t see how Bill can be implemented re NHS in Wales as stands 4)Any LCM actually technocratic in nature but Senedd determines scrutiny

Years of dispute, WRU arrogance and WRU mismanagement were only going to lead to one place.

The place Welsh rugby finds itself in now.

It is now up to the WRU to change course.
