15.02.2026 15:56 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0100%. This is the biggest source of resistance I see when talking to β5Eversβ about PF2E or Draw Steel or any other good fantasy game. You canβt compare that game to 5E as it is, you need to compare it to the βpotentialβ version of 5E they have in their mind. The one thatβll be perfect with 1/2

Probably dropping my hottest takes here: PF2E can be run much, much more fluidly than people give it credit for!
Iβd go so far as to say it supports βCombat as Warβ gameplay, even if it just happens to make βCombat as Sportβ easy to do!

isnβt too bad a tradeoff imo because you can still get very thematic and cool builds this way. 2/2
29.01.2026 16:15 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yeah, focus point clunk is one of my biggest annoyances in PF2E. The game would work much better if everyone who had at least one focus point automatically got a second FP at level 4, a third at level 10, and maybe a fourth at level 16 or something like that.
That being said, Order Explorer 1/2

I will *always* die on the hill that the Pathfinder Druid is fun, thematic, and powerful. I genuinely just donβt understand why people think itβs boring or weak.

I might make a video on this sometime in the next month.
Clickbait title already decided: 3 things EVERYONE gets WRONG about Pathfinder 2E Encounter Building
you have to say about this quote from the book here (2e.aonprd.com/Rules.aspx?I...) that laughs at the notion of infinite resting?
I have a feeling this misconception is a consequence of the β5Eismβ of the GM being expected to strictly structure the βadventuring dayβ around player resources. 3/3
fragile balance falls to shambles without infinite refocusing and HP between fights.
They inexplicably never have an answer when I ask them questions like:
- Why do you have infinite time for refocusing and HP but not spell slots?
- Where in the book does it say this is needed?
- What do 2/3
Bleh, thatβs par for the course.
People love to act like thereβll never be circumstances when focus points and HP are attritions in 10-minute intervals. Iβve brought this up in many different cases in the past and these folks ALWAYS dogpile me with ridiculous claims about how the gameβs 1/3
do on your turn 1, before your Unleash Psyche is all set up and ready to go.
Ultimately itβs a minor decision point since your action economy is jam-packed. 3/3
EoT, damage rolls are averaged and rounded up). These are situationally useful when you first pick them, and then at level 20 you can get them for effectively free every turn.
The choice between the two largely depends on whether your party needs Cha or Int more from you. Itβll inform what 2/3
Iβd say Emotional Acceptance or Precise Discipline are the choices Iβd take. Not because of their initial Psyche Action (an OW Psychic should RARELY consider those), but because of the level 10 Feats: Emotional Surge (1A for +2 status bonus to Attack rolls till EoT) or Impose Order (1A, till 1/3
23.01.2026 23:31 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I doubt that itβll get bumped unfortunately. Paizo is already behind on erratas, and I donβt think they have the bandwidth to look at changes that theyβd consider βnice to havesβ.

3. Bludgeoning/slashing can trigger WEAKNESSES which Force will practically never do.
The nerf to IW is, indeed, a nerf. A fairly unwarranted one too. 2/2
I think pointing to physical resist vs Force damage as a justification for losing -2 damage per rank for Amped IW is, frankly, cherry-picking.
1. Most enemies donβt have physical resist
2. When enemies DO have physical resist, itβs usually a smaller value (as is typical for wide ranging 1/2
FYI, Sustain without a time cap specified still caps out at 10 mins.

got a big glow up by losing alignment damage.
5. Slashing Gust got printed in RoE, making Arcane/Primal AoE in the low levels way stronger.
6. And finally (this happened many months after the drama), Live Wire happened in PC2.
Cantrips got buffed and Reddit complained they got nerfed⦠3/3
which does more damage than any Premaster cantrip at level 1.
2. Occult and Divine got a boost in Save-targeting variety via Void Warp being WAY better than its Premaster version.
3. Arcane and Primal got the same from Frostbite, being a much better cantrip than Ray of Frost.
4. Divine Lance 2/3
Funniest part of the cantrip damage complaints is that the sum total of Remaster changes actually buffed the value of cantrip usage for low levels SIGNIFICANTLY.
Yes, a handful of cantrips lost 0.5-1.5 average damage, but what did we gain in return?
1. All traditions got Needle Darts (in RoE), 1/3
always, the Witch brings value to the table through sheer Action efficiency. 2/2
16.01.2026 14:49 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβll also add that a single casting of Nudge Fate gives an ally a +1 to the next attack, save, or skill check that needs it. It doesnβt get consumed if a +1 wouldnβt modify the outcome.
A single action to give the enemy a -1 to AC and an ally a +1 to everything (once) is very good imo. As 1/2
D&D-likes gets old fast, whereas this team-first playstyle that games like Draw Steel, PF2E, etc have tends to have a ton of longevity. 2/2
20.12.2025 16:49 β π 8 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yeah, so far Iβve played a Talent and a Tactician, and itβs quite refreshing that level-up decisions are almost entirely a mix of: (a) Iβm gonna pick X because itβs cool, and (b) Iβm gonna pick X because it works so well in my team.
IMO, the βindividual superheroesβ playstyle of D&D and many 1/2
Ooooh thatβs an interesting point that I had missed!

Ever wanted to play a Large PC? Feeling scared by the online discourse about how they're bad? Worried your GM will make things too hard?
Never fear! Large PCs are great. Quite frankly, Iβd say Large PCs are MORE UPSIDE THAN DOWNSIDE!!

Always love hearing when I changed an opinion on some option!
The other day someone on a Discord said theyβve started assigning Skill Proficiencies differently because of me and that compliment went straight into my veins.
