I sent the triads out to hunt down the spears. Then HRH Donovan (spear) was in my back pocket (rotella) and we rolled across that field as a unified killing machine, and it was everything I have always wanted in melee. It was THE BEST. More of that for Pennsic please. 3/3

Capture the flag scenario: Trentus and I, as commanders on each discipline side, figured out one reform call and one call which called the other discipline to the no combat flag hand off zone. After the first round (we lost), I assigned shields to spears and gave them an RBG person 2/X

I just got back from Les Beltaines in Quebec. Had some great melee moments in the combined Heavy List and Rapier scenario. Strange to be fighting in conjunction with the other form, but it was handled safely and well. Once the East figured out how the scenario worked on the ground, we rallied. 1/X

Mind you, I didn't win the tournament by my own hand.
But the two of us did all right. :)

I am not a tourney fighter. I prefer melee and singles outside the tournament pressure cooker,
but I fought in a very high stakes tournament on Saturday. I was delighted to discover my own tournament head space.
I did the best I have ever done in a tournament!
I might do it again.

To answer the next question: I am seed starting at home under lights and on top of a heat mat. And when they are in need of repotting, they go to the space I rent in a community greenhouse. In May they will go in the ground.
