When we initially lacquered the Ardgowan Distillery Company Limited stills, they displayed a beautiful salmon hue - after our first distillation run, the wash has magically darkened and developed into a lovely copper tone that is just gorgeous.

Is it AI? Is it Photoshop? Nope—just Ardgowan Distillery looking incredible at dusk. 🌅

The smooth, continuous movement really highlights the impressive scale and architectural details of our project. The ☀️ did shine which helped. I did speed up the video in a few places.

I took a pre-dawn hike up Idzholm Hill overlooking Ardgowan Distillery Company Limited. A chilly -2°C morning. The sun's golden rays gradually lighted the distillery and the mist quickly cleared. Our ancestors celebrated this day waiting for the explosion of growth and a promise of a new season.

Distillery Water
The rock formations in the Inverclyde region consist primarily of sandstones with limestones and dolomites, plus some mudstone and siltstone. The borehole water is exceptionally clean and sweet, is ideal for producing single malt whisky. Here is Stevie with a video update.

The journey to build this distillery has been filled with challenges and triumphs, but seeing it now, nearly complete in the bright moonlight, makes it very worthwhile.

After our morning frost, this evening we had a brooding dark storm cloud.

This morning, we had -3°C on site, creating a stunning hoar frost across our building project. When sun crested over the hill, the frost melted, showing another view of our roof structure.
