it's been so long since we've lived in a world without smart phones no one remembers that this was how we managed boredom in public

my mom was just like the lady he wouldn't pay enough to get off SNAP. working multiple jobs and getting an education while raising kids. I told him it felt like he slapped my mom in the face the way he talked. Miraculously, I wasn't fired.

The owner of that business would complain about ppl on benefits buying FOOD because it wasn't exactly what he thought they should buy. I was raised on food stamps and shut him all the way down during one of his entitled fking tirades.

I've worked for ppl who revoked a raise from a full time employee because they didn't want to pay her enough to feed her and her two kids. She couldn't afford to take the raise and lose SNAP so they chose not to give her a raise.

I got laid off and used SNAP while I trained for a new career. Within days of finishing training I got an internship that paid enough to get off SNAP. 3 months later I was hired full time. 6 years later I'm still a web dev and make 6 figures.

Fun fact: if you fight hard enough for socialism your credit card debt and students loans will disappear
