I have a strong suspicion that those on bluesky encouraging purity tests by talking about how bad Harris was are sock puppets sent here to spread disinformation now that many on the left have abandoned Twitter. But here they don't get extended reach by buying blue checks.

You can't fix anything when you throw your only power away.
That power is the vote.
And you allowed someone into power that promises to take that away from you, just because Harris didn't meet your purity test.
Now you're encouraging others to make it stick by sitting out the midterms.

You do not have 3 choices for POTUS. You have two. I 100% guarantee one of those two will win. When one of them is promising autocracy, the choice should be clear, even if the person promising democracy isn't perfect.

We're stuck between a party that celebrates dictatorship and the party that repeatedly punches itself in the crotch while complaining how badly their crotch hurts and blaming everyone else for making them punch themselves in the crotch.
It's hard to stay hopeful some days.

Holding one leader accountable by not voting and thus not holding the opposition leader accountable is not accountability, it's hiding from responsibility. But you can't hide; people who wanted to hold Harris accountable are responsible for Trump being in office.

Yes, there is.
Because in any presidential election you get two choices.
You do not have the option of a 3rd party or neither of those two. You WILL get one of them. You can either make a choice or throw your vote away and be responsible when the autocrat makes it into power.

And they still don't understand that by bashing someone for theoretically supporting genocide they actually end up supporting someone who encourages and celebrates genocide so he can put up beach front resorts in Gaza.

Encouraging purity tests for candidates and encouraging people to not vote for them if they don't pass is a vote toward the end of voting. This is not the time to be playing stupid games then bitching when you win stupid prizes.

They agree with you. Apparently the Olympic Village is one giant sex party. You've got athletes where just about everybody is a 10 from the neck down, they're eating 9K calories like in training but not burning it in competition, and they're amped beyond belief.

Except whether they lose money or not for that advertising has little to do with us watching the Superbowl. They may debut those ads, but they'll live on and be re-used. If they're truly great they'll get tons of online streaming. It's a form of entertainment in itself.

I always watch the Superbowl. As someone who has played sports, just the thought of one single game to decide a lifetime of someone's hopes and dreams.
I used to watch the Olympics and the Stanley Cup finals as well, but I just don't have that kind of time anymore. This is one night a year.

Democrats are the party you have.
It's either them or MAGA.
You do not get to choose another party or neither, because doing so doesn't get you that choice, it gets you someone choosing for you.
So either sit here and whine about Dems or try to make them better.

They always thought an autocracy would be great if their side was in charge. Things get done, no red tape, and their way of life gets codified into law.
And it is great, right up until it isn't, and then it's too late.

If MAGA is consistent about one thing, it's that they love to set rules then hate to play by them.
Partisan gerrymandering is fine, unless blue states do it.
Cancel culture is great, unless the left does it.
