I think that constant validation and immediate gratification has lent society to ignore simple rules of the road. Turning left in front of oncoming traffic and assuming that the 2 signs which read "right lane must turn right" do not apply to you seem to be ignored more now. It's just annoying.

It's raining heavily at the moment. I am reminded how I used to get so very worried about the basement flooding when I owned a hundred year old house. I find it funny that I still get anxious at night when it rains.

The joy I feel when looking out over my balcony and seeing my plants enjoying the sun and breeze is immeasurable.

Watching a family on YouTube renovating an old building in Europe. I wonder about them and a Google search reveals they are not the nicest people. Now the lovely project isn't quite as lovely as it was before the search. Ugh

I am completely enthralled watching this young couple build a life from almost scratch in Newfoundland. I know when I went to Maine to bring my boy to University I was thinking...I could live quite happily out here in the woods. Now I just need a big burly lumberjack. 😉
