I think some of these forgotten movies aren't the movies fault but are down to the changing viewing habits of filmgoers.

I think CODA is a great example of made a big splash but faded quickly. It has its positives for sure, and it's important. But I think when people look back at the history of the Oscars, it'll be one of those winners people will have totally forgotten about and may even be surprised won.

Honestly, I think that's the case for most modern musicals. I don't even see a fairly recent Oscar winner like La La Land brought up very often. Same for Spielberg's West Side Story. I wonder if the movie adaptions of Wicked will stick around in the public consciousness for long.

I think about how when they sang La Marseillaise they were still in the midst of a war they did not know they were going to win.

I love how Baywatch lore is more out there than a pure supernatural show like Charmed. 😆

My mother passed away 20 years ago today. To help mark the occasion and remember her, I made this little video where I talk about her and what was probably her favorite movie, which was based on probably her favorite book: #ToKillAMockingbird.

Charade's music IS copyrighted, though, and can't be used for free outside the context of the film.

Fun fact, Charade entered into the public domain upon its release, because the copyright notices in the film didn't include the word "copyright", the abbreviation "copr.", or the symbol "©", which were required at the time for copyright protection.

#NowWatching I haven't seen this in many a moon. Not since I had a really good time watching with my mother as a kid. Hope I enjoy it just as much, if not more, this time around.

I think about this a lot. If you want to see two expert improvers who can make stuff up so deftly that you'd it was all scripted, then check this out. It's a master work.

But you have soul, a cute cat, and a rocking sense of style, oh Dark One. So, you're coming out on top.
