Thanks for mentioning the Commonwealth citizens as voters which I always found utterly ridiculous. As was the process by which lots of UK citizens in the EU were incapable of voting.

Why should I be “invested” into country where an advisory referendum with a minuscule outcome suddenly becomes a total absolute requirement to leave the most sensible and peaceful organisation in Europe.
You didn’t vote to leave the EU. Mrs May decided so.

If I had acquired an English passport, I would have lost my Dutch nationality. Then where would I have been? Stuck in Brexit Britain.
Together with 3 million fellow Europeans in the UK I was not allowed to vote in the referendum, as you well know.

I am a European who started living in England in 1975.
During my 44 years there becoming English was never a priority, (thank God) because I am a Dutch European. As such, I decided to move to France after Brexit.
Is it a priority to become French? Absolutely not.
