In a comic strip panel, person in a red shirt walks through a sunlit forest. The text says "Sometimes I go looking for a tiny part of the universe."

"This part only takes up as much space as: half an apple, a salt shaker, or 2 ping pong balls." Each of these items is shown.

Galaxies and stars swirl as the text says "But somehow, in an unfathomably huge universe," and then there's a complex mess of forest leaves, with one tiny Wilson's warbler in one corner, and the text says "this one tiny part"

There's a close up of the warbler, blazing yellow against a sparkly yellow background, and the text says "can fill up my whole heart."

Diane, 11:30 AM, February 24th. Entering the town of Twin Peaks, five miles south of the Canadian border, twelve miles west of the state line. I’ve never seen so many trees in my life.

Wait a second, I thought the core conservative ideology was based on freedom of speech and criticism of censorship?

С днём рождения! Не уверена, считается ли пара декоративных канадских гусей под снегом «чем-то красивым», но мне завалило входную дверь и ничего красивее сфотографировать, к сожалению, не получится ;)

I recently made a comic complaining that NASA refuses to listen to my good ideas for improving the Solar System (xkcd.com/2750).

To my delight, NASA’s Science Mission Directorate has sent me an actual expert panel evaluation of my “flatten the planets” proposal! Sadly, they decided not to fund it.

Opinion | Yes, it’s okay to compare Trump to Hitler. Don’t let me stop you. My very minor status as an authority on Hitler comparisons stems from having coined “Godwin’s Law” more than three decades ago.

Being a cat breeder is a really hypocritical job. On the one hand, you, presumably, love cats (since why else would you make cats your primary occupation). On the other, you must be deliberately oblivious to all the pain you are inflicting on said cats. Such a morally abhorrent thing to do.

This is the story of so many outdoor English cats I see online. It goes from "lol cats are fine outside dummy" to "oh god he was hit by a car please help me". (this cat survived, by the way)
