i wonder:
the whole dt/em fight, what if it's a planned ending?
what if they accomplished their data quest and will use palantir to enter a new phase of their plan?
so: what do y'all think about poll data?
09.04.2025 21:49 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0it would be interesting if being in a democracy would entail every voter having a little button box in their homes, easy to get to, offering much greater poll participation. maybe that way i would trust the poll numbers a little more. it would be the biggest focus group ever.
09.04.2025 21:49 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0but all the coverage of the now (and past and everything) is full of "americans think" this or that. do they really? who is being asked?
09.04.2025 21:49 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0are y'all counted in the polls the media sources use to give us a clue of who's for or against an issue? i've randomly asked my friends if their voices are part of the poll numbers; most say they are not.
09.04.2025 21:49 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0thread: i want to poll you about polls.
as a person who is not asked to participate in reputable polls (and leery of participating in random online polls), i wonder where those numbers come from.
america was already a "godly" nation, welcoming the stranger, caring for the outcast, supporting the widow.. my God (because i believe in God), please help us!
28.03.2025 14:40 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0i think there are a few weeds combining at the present. they are helping each other. the technate thing is one, another one relates to xian nationalism and its subcategories (in an effort to make us a "godly" nation). these weeds are fertilized by racism and hate and greed.
28.03.2025 14:40 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0imagine life as a garden. right now, there are monster weeds taking over and choking out the natural symbiotic diversity of life. i'm not a fan of using round-up for weeds b/c it damages the rest of the garden. the only way to save the garden is to find and diligently dig out the root.
28.03.2025 14:40 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0although i agree with all the things we are so outraged by, i'm not interested in listing all the reasons things are so fucked up. i want to know why. this technate thing appears to be part of the why.
28.03.2025 14:40 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0maybe you knew about this already. i didn't. it makes me hyper aware how sheltered my life has been, how much the u.s. (however turbulent it's been here, despite there being more guns here than ppl, despite all the inequalities) has succeeded in keeping the bigger world domination forces at bay.
28.03.2025 14:37 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0here's an article about it for those not into long videos:
28.03.2025 14:35 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0i watched this yesterday and now the whole greenland/canada/etc thing makes sense.
28.03.2025 14:33 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0dt abused the law by hacking it via loopholes/appeals/?. i base this on how he handled nyc real estate ventures long ago.
when democrats scream "what you're doing is against the law!" it has little impact bc he thinks he hacked the law enough to make it meaningless.
how do we counter that?
As Trump tries to dismantle the Department of Education, remember that his plan to cut the corporate tax rate to 15% would give the 100 largest corporations a tax cut larger than the entire department's K-12 budget.
Really think about how twisted this all is.
During Trump's first term, some EPA scientists said managers encouraged them to delete evidence of chemicalsβ harms, including cancer, miscarriage and neurological problems, from their reports. In some cases, they said, the managers deleted the information themselves.
(Published Sept. 2024)
After American airspace was closed on 9/11, over 230 flights with 30,000 passengers and crew were diverted to Canadian airports. Transport Canada received thousands of calls from members of the public offering to help the stranded passengers.
Thinking about that today, for no particular reason.
horrifying is an understatement.
right now my solace is that "they" are showing how incredibly naive they are (by leaving metadata tags in pdfs that point to project 2025 authors in emails trying to get a roll-call of all civil service employees for instance).
welp, here i am.
bless all y'all, we're gonna make it through this madness that goes against everything we've been taught to be good and right. it just hurts. every bit of news hurts my/our feelings, my/our sense of security, my/our idea of what it means to be a good person. wtf.
all of this is pushing/coercing people to break out of everything weβve been taught about acceptable human interaction. no!
27.01.2025 21:01 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0at first glance i imagined his middle finger up.
because that's kinda what he's saying to the population.
