I never post on here because nobody sees my stuff and it’s depressing. Anyway, I’ve been in the hospital for 10 days now, which is my fourth hospital visit. Stage 4 appendix cancer sucks Right now they’re trying to get my kidneys to function again so I can at least attempt chemo.

Good morning. I miss the wonderful nurses. Having to do so much myself is actually pretty exhausting. WDYM I have to administer my own meds and there are no ice chips on demand? 😂

I expressed my fury about the chaplain to the nursing manager, who was shocked. She talked to the rest of the palliative care team who were shocked, including the doc who saw it. And would you believe everybody dropped everything to make a discharge happen? Hallelujah I AM FREE.

Shame on religious hospitals. Shame on Swedish Providence. Shame on the hipster chaplain who thinks he knows better than doctors. I didn’t even want you there bro, and now you’ve sent me into a serious tailspin. F off.

I wish wasn’t at a religious hospital. Today we met with the palliative care team which apparently includes a chaplain. That fucker made me feel TERRIBLE and sent me into a major tailspin. “In my experience, doctors are overly optimistic on how much time you’ve got left.” WTF.

Today was a bad day. Surgical residents should be required to pass a rigorous EQ exam before speaking to human patients. I’d been keeping it together until a Doogie dipshit strolled in when I was alone and vulnerable and left me sobbing then nearly catatonic with compassionless bad news delivery.

I wish things didn’t move so slowly. I wish I knew the game plan. I wish I could have something other than TPN and ice strips. I would kill for a cup of tea. 😞

Hey friends! I haven’t been here much but I wanted to share that last week I was diagnosed with stage IV cancer. My hospital room has a great view! We still don’t know the aggressive treatment game plan, but I am certainly accepting good wishes and prayers. I may post a lil fundraiser at some point.
