I'm curious to hear if anyone has done any long, long, LONG term planning for their digital content. It doesn't seem like there's any way to future proof self-hosted online writing (or maybe any online writing) other than the various online archivers, and even then I guess it's never forever?

Yeah, I think coding is kind of a different story from translation.

Pretty impressed with the explanations. They're clean, concise, and well structured with useful icons and code examples.

I'm pretty opposed to AI use in translation, but getting it to teach me some stuff about WordPress has been kind of eye-opening. I've always been a "need to see it in practice"/"need to see someone's process" in order to understand, which is tough to do with Google searches alone.

I was really lucky that eagle-eyed Redditor spotted that. Replaced curly apostrophes with straight apostrophes in ONE LOCATION, and then the PHP update worked without any issues.

Today I tried querying ChatGPT and it diagnosed the problem from the error message and explained it to me in 2 seconds.

Last week I had a Wordpress error that was resulting in How to Japanese not loading when I updated the PHP. Strangely it didn't crash my personal site. Posted around on Reddit, and someone noticed that in one error message I was getting, there was an issue with curly vs straight apostrophes.

Dropbox sure makes it complicated to change region/billing on a plan.
