I think there's three simultaneous takeaways from this:

There's plenty of parking near there (just follow your maps to the Whipple building and you'll see them), and then the protest area is across from the entrance to the Whipple building (and *its* parking lots, which are blocked off). Protesters are all kind of in a line, behind some barriers/fences.

When people say AI is inevitable, let them know the future isn’t settled.

It’s not to prove you’re not getting benefits, the idea is to prove you are not working enough for a single employer to qualify for benefits, it’s a CYA for the employer so they don’t get in trouble for not giving benefits to people who should qualify as W2 employees instead of 1099 workers.

For the people asking: my understanding is that a law was passed in CA that requires companies to give freelancers that are exclusive health insurance. That's fine, but now apparently it's on the *freelancers* to prove they have other clients. And you have to do it every year.
