Interesting! I found the book hopeful as well, but personally I wouldn't consider it light-hearted, fun, or an escape. Maybe I'm remembering wrong though

Curious why you chose to put Bingo Love on this list? Its been a bit since I read it but I recall it being a rather painful read despite the happy ending
