Personally, when I hear "corner store", I think: "You only have to walk to the next corner to get there", not "this store will literally be located on a corner" but I'm not super invested in the nomenclature.

Good to know. I’ve since sold my ebike and dropped my bike insurance since I just didn’t have the storage space for a chunky electric bike and my apartment does not provide any kind of secure bike storage (which is where my last one was stolen from anyways). Maybe my next home will have space 😔

I was dropped by State Farm after an ebike theft at my apartment a couple years ago. I called multiple insurers to make sure that the same thing would be covered by renters insurance should it happen again and many told me no. So I got Velosurance.

I really thought about trying to do this during an extended period of unemployment a couple years ago. Another idea I had was cycling to every public park in the city, but optimizing the routing was a daunting task I didn’t take the time to do 😅
