Two months ago we were paying all federal workers, SNAP benefits were fully funded, and people could afford their health insurance premiums but a small group of Democratic senators have Stockholm Syndrome and are telling us we have to Sophie’s choice one or two of these things.

We followed a court order and worked quickly to make sure that nearly 700,000 Wisconsinites who rely on FoodShare, including about 270,000 kids, had food to eat.

Now, President Trump wants to yank that money away from hungry kids, families, and seniors in Wisconsin? Hell no.

A Dutch province has asked the US ambassador in the Netherlands to return two panels about African American soldiers to the visitors center of the Netherlands American Cemetery, located in Margraten (Limburg). The two panels were recently removed by the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC).

Respectfully Senator, you need to remove Schumer as Senate minority leader or we have no chance.

I look forward to dragging @schumer.senate.gov - my senator - FOR FILTH & supporting a bold primary challenger against him & any other Dems willing to toss away the pressure of the last 40 days for nothing. The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

If the rest don’t oust Schumer immediately, then the entire U.S. Senate sold us out. They think we’re stupid. It’s insulting.

I think Senate folders are significantly underestimating how fucking angry Democratic voters are at them

My family has been without half our income for 40 days. It has been.. very hard.

We are willing to feel that pain so people can have health care next year, or to undo these illegal recissions.

We are not willing to have been put through this for NOTHING.

Honestly, I don't think Trump's incomprehension of political asylum has anything to do with his serious personality-disorder-related psychiatric afflictions and his seeming dementia, which both raise 25th Amendment questions. I do, however, think it reflects his utter stupidity ….
