I would not be surprised to learn this fellow had a dog like Mutley.

I know this was called a card catalog, but I think it makes for a funnier bit to describe the blessed thing.

If you wanted to know where to find a book at the library, you would go to a set of drawers filled with hundreds--even thousands--of 3 x 5 notecards. Each card listed the author, title, publication info, and call number for a different book.

I expect that I will finish Alexandre Dumas's "The Count of Monte Cristo" either today or tomorrow. Which "brick" should I tackle next?
