I was walking to my dorm with 3-4 friends after grabbing a pizza from an off-campus pizzeria. A passing motorist rolled down his window and yelled a homophobic slur at us. Without missing a beat, my best friend just screamed back: "YOU'RE DRIVING A F***ING MINIVAN!"

If I wasn't convinced Trump was functionally illiterate, I would say he read "A Christmas Carol" and took Scrooge's statement about "decreasing the surplus population" as a blueprint.

I have 2 theories: the first, and the most likely, is they have no plans to finish rebuilding the East Wing. This is nothing more than $300 million con.

The advice I’d give to other people at 30 would be to have fun, to appreciate all the possibilities of life that continue to unfold and surprise them, to allow their griefs and struggles to make them more patient and generous toward others. The advice I’d give myself at 30 is “work harder.”

Taking Trump’s loyalty oath would be a profound betrayal of students, staff, faculty, the public, higher education, & our shared democracy. We urge schools not to capitulate & not to negotiate but to unite now in defense of democracy and higher ed.

George Carlin would never have taken blood money to perform comedy for a Saudi Arabian tyrant.

Now the fun begins.
