Klein’s audience is not the general public and he lost them with that out of touch take. I used to listen fairly regularly and haven’t at all since Kirk and the center-left push for the substance-less abundance agenda.

When the girls tired of waiting longer than our fair share for the swing we would climb the hill on the far side of the creek and use rakes and our feet to carve β€œhouses” into the tall grass between the sage brush. We would stomp down the rooms to layout an idyllic domestic life on the hillside.

My cousins had a creek behind their house under tall cottonwood trees. Children lined up for a turn to fly across the narrow water on a rope swing made of a single length of rope tied around the center of a blunt stick. The bigger kids could lift themselves to swing standing or did foolhardy stunts.

He was adamant that nail polish was vain and that if we truly lived the law of the gospel girls wouldn’t be cutting their hair. I thought he believed in a pretty shallow god and asked why men’s hair cuts don’t matter to god. Apparently men aren’t vain, but women are universally so. 🀨

I also attended family reunions with color coded name tags to identify which wife we were descended from and was surprised to see other kids I knew from Jr High in attendance.

Can’t forget the creepy guy who sat at the picnic table to tell me what God wanted for the daughters of Zion.

The mask is off. We know which side the mainstream Democratic Party is on when Schumer orchestrated the enabling vote for a reconciliation budget. You made your bed with MAGA, AIPAC, and the pedos in the Epstein files. The consequences will come for you or this will sink us all.

All of DHS must be dismantled and criminal prosecution pursued for the repeated willful and egregious violations of due process and constitutional rights.

AND massive investigations and criminal prosecution for ALL predators and co-collaborators in the Epstein Files.

See you at the primaries.

No! Reform is not remotely adequate. ACCOUNTABILITY is the only way forward.

I am a Nevada constituent and will not be placated. Your colleagues allowed America to be broken, but we have no appetite to return to the neoliberal status quo that served only the elite.

I miss 2/3 of the people who were in the room before the nazis got ahold of the megaphone.

One photo of two cats (above/below a low table). The bengal is poised to hunt, the elderly orange is staring off into the sun rays.

Delightful! Reminds me of my sister’s cats, though the Bengal was the feisty guy of this set.

Except we didn’t elect him the second time. The results are statistically impossible.

Our country is being stolen from us and those in power (on both sides) are complicit.

DJT is literally a Russian puppet. They are controlling the levers of power in our country through extortion + media capture and propaganda. Our problems are so much bigger than the demented orange toddler.

I can’t get over how pervasive β€œmodeling” was as an aspirational goal, (though somehow perilous) in the 80s/90s. I lived in a small suburban town in a backwards state with very conservative religious communityβ€” but β€œmodeling” was very present in the zeitgeist.

If we really wanted to protect children, we would protect them from heterosexual men.

They already did this to the kid charged with Charlie Kirk’s murder. Not the the action was defensible, but the kid is far right and has been dismissed as liberal.

If they want us to believe they’re treating people well, they need to open to public officials, legal counsel, and stop sending detainees to the ER.

The other was the mother of a federal agent currently in training to be an ICE agent. She said β€” Do you really think they are out there breaking laws? The whole room responded with an emphatic β€œYES!”

I went to a City Council mtg this week where there was 2hrs of public comment begging the City to cancel their detention cntr contract w/ ICE. Only 2 spoke in favor of ICE β€” 1 worked for Turning Point and claimed the room was packed with paid agitators. πŸ™„

American listening to PM Carney’s address today β€” and now I’m grieving because I forgot what leadership sounds like.

I also have Canadian citizenship which feels like a lifeline these days.

Why else do you think they executed their populist podcaster? They thought the Right would explode, but his empire was largely astroturfed by the billionaires who want this all to go sideways.
