Very fortunate. Would have loved the chance to talk through the current chaos with him. I’ve thought a lot lately about his admonition to never forget the service in public service. We aren’t seeing nearly enough servant leadership right now.

So grateful to have had the chance to study with David Gergen about how to demand more from the institutions in our lives and deliver more for our communities. May his memory be a blessing.

So many came together over to make clear to Congress that our public lands are not an offset for corporate tax breaks. Hikers, bikers, hunters, birders, communities that depend on the outdoor economy, conservationists, water authorities that want drinking water. Thank you!

Thanks! That’s a lot and it focuses on the biggest accounts. It’ll be higher when factoring in infrastructure, safety, and environmental programs. Can’t imagine states being able to cover.
