It’s wrong American culture both glamorizes and infantilizes mothers but does little to support them or pregnant people. Formula shouldn’t be absurdly expensive. Breastmilk banks should exist. Changing stations, high chairs, and priority parking should be guaranteed in all public spaces.

People are judgy about farmers, but they are the hardest-working members of society. My father is a college-educated, liberal-voting farmer in Kentucky. Maybe he’s an outlier. Yes, I understand modern agriculture has climate impacts. That is not the fault of individual farmers. Yes, I understand tariffs implemented by a man they may have voted for negatively affect them. But republicans pretend to show up for farmers, which the left could do more of. 4/5

They should support homeless people.

They should support those living in poverty, children and the elderly.

This is literally the purpose of taxes, and I would far rather support those who need it than continue to enrich the elite.
